Three passengers were injured after falling from a moving local train heading towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) on Friday morning. Fortunately, all three survived and are currently undergoing treatment at Sion Hospital.
The incident occurred around 10 am during peak office hours between Sion and Matunga railway stations. The injured passengers have been identified as Afzal Chaudhary (36), a resident of Govandi; Sachin Vishwakarma (21) from Thane; and Jainil Sayyed (25) from Kurla.
According to the police, the Dadar Railway Police have registered the incident, confirming that all three passengers sustained injuries after falling from the running train. As the injured are still undergoing medical treatment, their statements regarding the exact circumstances of the fall have not yet been recorded.
