Mumbai Water Cut: No Supply for 16 Hours in These Areas From March 28

Water supply will be suspended for 16 hours in the Mumbai H-West ward from Saturday, March 28. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), lay new 750 mm diameter water pipeline between Ramdas Naik Marg, Swami Vivekanand Marg (SV Road) and RK Patkar Marg junction at Bandra West.

The pipeline work will be carried out from 11 pm on March 28 to 5 pm on March 29. Meanwhile, citizens in the area will witness a low-pressure water supply on March 29 (Sunday).

Mumbai civic body urged citizens to use adequate water and store a necessary stock of water. BMC also argued to boil or filter the water before drinking for the next four to five days. 

Affected Areas of BMC H-West Ward

The areas where water supply will be affected on Sunday are Khar West, Santacruz West and some parts of Bandra West. Bazaar Marg, Jain Mandir Marg area, D'Monte Road area, Hill Road, Perry Road, Manuel Gonsalves Road, St. Andrews Road, St. Paul Road, Dominic Road, R. K. Patkar Road, New and Old Kantwadi, Ranwar Gaon, Waroda Marg, Carter Road, Palimala Marg, Chimbai Gaon, Sherly Gaon, Rajgaon, Malagaon and Paligaon in Bandra West, Khardanda Koliwada, Dandpada, Chuim Gaothan, and some parts of the Gazdarbandh slum will also be affected.
