Mumbai Water Cut Today: Water Supply Disruption Till March 11; Check Affected Areas and Timings

Mumbaikars will be facing water supply suspension in several areas for the maintenance work ahead of summers. With hot and humid weathers, citizens have been advised to use water carefully and avoid wastage over the next few days. Following the water cut their might be a brief interruptions in electricity supply during the maintenance window. 

As per the civic authorities, work will be carried out to connect a 750-millimetre water pipeline along Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari Road in Goregaon East. The project is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the city’s water distribution infrastructure.

Water cut disruption timings and affected area

Water supply will be disrupted in several neighborhoods from 9 am on March 10 to 9 am on March 11 due to scheduled pipeline connection work. Authorities urge residents to plan accordingly. A complete water shutdown will occur in certain areas within the ‘P East’ and ‘P South’ municipal wards. Other parts of these wards may experience partial disruptions or reduced pressure. Goregaon will be particularly affected, with a complete water cutoff for the full 24 hours.

Residential areas in ‘P East’ and ‘P South’ wards expected to face disruptions include Shivshahi Project, Shrikrishna Nagar, Indira Gandhi Research Institute, Satellite Tower, Mali Nagar, Santosh Nagar, Hable Pada, Nagarmode Pada, Umarshet Pada, and the Sunil Maidan Area.
