New CCTV footage in Bollywood director Rohit Shetty's house firing has emerged showing a masked man on a two-wheeler arriving at his Mumbai Juhu residence before committing the crime. Mumbai Police are analysing new surveillance video and have launched an investigation.

A video shared on X (formerly Twitter) shows a man wearing a masked ride a scooter in a huddle, before the gunshots were fired outside Shetty's house in Juhu.

The incident occurred on Sunday midnight, when several rounds were fired towards the window of the first floor of the nine-storey residential building, which led to the shattering of the glass of a gym located on the premises. Heavy police with investigation agencies, including Mumbai Crime Branch and zonal police, reached the spot after the incident. A case was registered on a complaint filed by Shetty's security guard under BNS for attempt to murder, along with sections of the Arms Act. After a quick investigation by the Mumbai Police, five suspects were detained from Pune and were brought to Mumbai, where four were formally arrested by the Anti-Extortion Cell of the city crime branch and remanded to police custody till February 5.

The accused identified as Samarth Pomaji, Aman Marote, Aditya Gayaki, Siddharth Yenpure and Swapnil Sakat. Shubham Lonkar, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and an accused in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, remains wanted, as hours after the firing, a threatening social-media post surfaced claiming Lonkar’s involvement and warning of further attacks.
