Nidhi wins three medals

She won silver in the 800 meters race, bronze in the 1500 meters race, and silver in the 4x400 meters relay.

A member of Jai Athletics Club, Nagpur, Nidhi secured the silver medal in the 800 meters with a timing of 3:00.48 seconds. Sharada Kadu from Pune won the gold medal with 2:58.32 seconds, while N. Subashi from Tamil Nadu claimed the bronze with 3:02.27 seconds.

In the 1500 meters race, Sharada Kadu (Maharashtra) again won gold with a timing of 5:59.22 seconds. Marna Gurjal from Rajasthan secured silver with 6:01.28 seconds, while Nidhi Tarare finished third with a timing of 6:01.58 seconds to win the bronze medal.

In the 4x400 meters relay, the Maharashtra team, of which Nidhi is a member, won the silver medal. The Tamil Nadu team secured gold, while Kerala took the bronze.

Nidhi is a member of Jai Athletics Club, Nagpur, and a student of A.D. College, Bharsingi. She trains under the guidance of NIS coach Dr. Sunil Kapgate.

Her achievement was congratulated by Nagpur District Athletics Association president Gurudev Nagarale, along with Nagesh Sahare, Dr. Sanjay Chaudhary, Umesh Naidu, Shekhar Suryavanshi, Ramchandra Wani, Vijay Barse, Dr. Manoj Verma, her father Vinod Tarare, Archana Kottewar, Dr. Vivekanand Singh, Ravindra Tong, Jitendra Ghordadekar, Gajanan Thakre, Harendra Thakre, Amit Thakur, Chandrabhan Kolte, Dr. Brijmohan Singh Rawat, Kamlesh Hinge, Rajesh Bhute, Ganesh Wani, and Pranali Chanode, among others.
