The secretary of Physically Challenged Cricket Association of India (PCCAI) Ravi Chouhan said their body wants to come under the wings of richest cricketing board of the world.

Talking to reporters he said, “In this regard wee have already initiated the talks with the BCCI and we are getting positive response from them . If everything goes well we might come under BCCI umbrella in a few months’ time”

He further said, “We are slated to meet top BCCI officials at Ahmadabad during the Pink Ball Test against England next week. We will have a detailed discussion about the process of merging of BCCI and PCCAI. We are hoping the talks will be held in the right direction and we would come to a fruitful conclusion regarding the future of disabled cricketers of the country. It will be great if BCCI adopts us and start conducting every activities of ours. Financial stability for disabled cricketers will be achieved if BCCI takes us under their wings,” said Chouhan.IT may be mentioned here that ever since Women’s Cricket Association of India (WCAI) merged with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in October, 2006, fortunes of the domestic women cricketers changed dramatically.
