SJAN T20 Inter-Press cricket tournament from Feb 17

The annual cricket tournament for print media employees is being supported by Sports Karma, Rokde Jewellers, Sarangi Foundation Trust, and Sports Link. While Rokde Jewellers are the official clothing partners, Sports Link will be providing the Wisden white cricket balls for the smooth conduct of the tournament. Man of the match prizes for all the 19 matches are being sponsored in the memory of Gangadharrao Chinchole.

A total of nine teams including defending champion Lokmat, last year's runners-up Navbharat, The Times of India, Sakal, Tarun Bharat, Loksatta, Danik Bhaskar, Punyanagari and Deshonnati are taking part in the 26th edition of the tournament. Matches will be played in coloured clothing and with white leather balls.

The tournament that will be played in the league-cum-knockout format will conclude on March 12. All the matches will begin at 8.30 am sharp daily. All the participating teams are divided in two groups from where two teams each will qualify for the semifinals.

Defending champions Lokmat have been placed in Group-A along with Punynagari, Sakal, Deshonnati and Loksatta. The runners-up team of last year, Navbharat has been placed in Group-B along with The Times of India, Dainik Bhaskar and Tarun Bharat.
