A 6-year-old student was seriously injured after being run over by a car driven by a school teacher. According to the News18 report, the accident took place in the premises of Little Blossom School in Igatpuri, Nashik.
The incident occurred at the time when school was dismissed and he was reportedly tying his shoelaces. According to the report, the car was driven by teacher Yash Kadam, who allegedly ran over the student, causing him a head injury.

The class 1 child received four stitches and is currently in stable condition. The complaint was lodged at the Igatpuri police station against the teacher and the school management under provisions of the Indian Penal Code 2023 and the Motor Vehicles Act.

The complaint alleged that the school provided misleading information about the incident, attempted to withhold CCTV footage and tried to suppress the matter. CCTV footage of the accident has surfaced on social media shows students in the playground where few cars can be seen parked in the premises.
Further in the video, a parked white sedan drove over a child, which has created an atmosphere of chaos. Parents and students were seen running in panic.
