Ajmer Tragedy: 25-Year-Old Man Collapses While Drinking Water, Dies from Suspected Heart Attack

A 25-year-old man lost his life after suddenly collapsing at a roadside stall in Ajmer, in an incident that is suspected to be linked to a cardiac arrest, police officials said. The unexpected tragedy left bystanders and his friends in shock, as the young man showed no immediate signs of distress before the episode. Such sudden medical emergencies have increasingly been reported in recent times, particularly among younger individuals. Authorities noted that while the exact cause is yet to be medically confirmed, initial indications suggest a possible heart-related complication behind the untimely death.

The deceased has been identified as Sandeep, also known as Sanju Didwania, a resident of Subhash Nagar in the Ramganj locality. According to preliminary details, he had stepped out early in the morning to drop a friend near the women’s hospital. After completing the errand, he was on his way back home when he decided to take a short halt with his friends. The routine outing soon turned tragic, leaving his close companions stunned as events unfolded rapidly without warning.

While returning, Sandeep and his friends paused at a roadside tea stall. During the brief stop, he began drinking water when he suddenly complained of discomfort and uneasiness. Within moments, he collapsed, causing panic among those present. His friends, alarmed by his sudden condition, tried to assist him and quickly arranged to take him to the nearest medical facility. The incident occurred so swiftly that there was little time to react, highlighting the unpredictable nature of such medical emergencies.

He was immediately rushed to Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital, where doctors examined him upon arrival. Unfortunately, medical staff declared him brought dead, indicating that he had already succumbed before reaching the hospital. The sudden loss has left his family devastated. Relatives suspect that he may have suffered a heart attack, although doctors have not yet confirmed the exact cause. Medical experts have stated that only a detailed examination can establish the reason behind the sudden collapse.

Meanwhile, the Ramganj police have launched an investigation into the case to ascertain all circumstances surrounding the incident. Sub-Inspector Gujral confirmed that the deceased’s brother, Vikas Didwania, has filed a written complaint explaining the sequence of events. The body has been preserved in the mortuary for further examination. Officials stated that a post-mortem will be conducted to determine the precise cause of death and rule out any other possible factors linked to the tragedy.

The incident has once again drawn attention to the rising number of sudden cardiac cases being reported among young individuals. Although confirmation in this case is still awaited, such occurrences underline the need for increased health awareness.
