Bank Holidays in April 2025: As April begins, customers should be aware of bank holidays to plan their financial activities. Banks in India will remain closed on different days due to public holidays, regional observances, and festivals. The Reserve Bank of India issues guidelines for these holidays, which vary across states. Some holidays apply nationwide, while others are specific to certain regions. Apart from government-declared holidays, banks will remain closed on all Sundays. They will also be shut on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. On April 1, banks across the country will be closed for the year-end financial closing, as per the RBI’s holiday schedule.
