Basti Road Accident: 4 Killed After Car Collides With Tractor-Trolley Near Benipur Chauraha in UP (Watch Video)
All four travellers were killed after a speeding car collided and crashed into a tractor-trolley in Uttar Pradesh's Basti district. The high-impact collision severely damaged the car and overturned the tractor-trolley. Police are investigating the incident.
The accident took place near Benipur Chauraha at around 11 pm on Friday, February 14. All the victims were returning from a wedding ceremony. Police have recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem.

The deceased have been identified as Rohit (27) son of Sahabdeen, resident of Sherpur police station Inayat Nagar in Ayodhya, Pawan (24) son of Jokhu Prasad resident of Khamaria Buzurg police station Chhapia district Gonda, Monu (22) son of Ram Ji and Somnath (24) son of Ram Ji resident of Baba Bageshwar Nagar Babhanan police station Gaur district Basti.
Basti ASP Abhinandan sais, "A road accident occurred in the Paikoliya Police Station area, where a speeding WagonR crashed into a tractor moving in the same direction, which was carrying tent supplies. Four people were inside the WagonR, and all of them lost their lives in the accident. Upon receiving the information, we immediately arrived at the scene. The dead bodies are being sent to the mortuary for post-mortem. Further necessary legal action is being taken. The situation at the site is peaceful and traffic is moving smoothly."
