Bomb Threat In Two Mumbai-Bound Express Trains; Security Forces Conduct Searches
On Tuesday morning, passengers aboard two Mumbai-bound express trains were thrown into panic after bomb threats were received, prompting immediate action from authorities. The threats, which claimed explosives were on board, were sent through social media at around 10:30 AM. The trains involved were the Kamayani Express, traveling from Ballia to Mumbai’s Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, and the Dadar Express, which was en route from Gorakhpur to Mumbai.
In response, railway officials halted both trains at different stations in Uttar Pradesh for thorough security inspections. The Kamayani Express was stopped at Ballia Railway Station, while the Dadar Express was halted at Audhihar Railway Station. Security personnel conducted extensive searches to ensure the safety of the passengers, alleviating concerns among those onboard. GRP spokesperson Shyam Babu assured that all necessary precautions were being taken to handle the situation carefully and swiftly. Authorities treated the threat with utmost seriousness and proceeded with a detailed investigation to ensure no danger to the public.
