The Congress MLAs who were isolated in Bangalore were all set to fly to Bhopal on Saturday night but on reaching the airport, they were told of the possibility of being quarantined in Bhopal on arrival. However Madhya Pradesh Governor Lalji Tandon has written to CM Kamal Nath, stating 'Conduct the floor test on 17th March otherwise it will be considered that you actually don't have the majority in the state assembly.'

The Kamal Nath-led Congress government in Madhya Pradesh has got a 10 day relief today as the State Assembly session has been adjourned till 26th March, in view of Coronavirus.

The opposition BJP, which is confident it now has the majority to take power, paraded 106 MLAs before the Governor and accused the ruling Congress of stalling to cling to power. The Supreme Court will tomorrow take up the BJP MLAs' petition asking for a test of strength within 12 hours.

The Congress MLAs who were isolated in Bangalore were all set to fly to Bhopal on Saturday night but on reaching the airport, they were told of the possibility of being quarantined in Bhopal on arrival.

J.P. Nadda, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Tomar are said to have met them on Sunday in Bangalore and reassured them that they would all be given “what they have been promised”. The MLAs have now arrived, each with their health certificate. And perhaps under CRPF cover.

However Madhya Pradesh Governor Lalji Tandon has written to CM Kamal Nath, stating 'Conduct the floor test on 17th March otherwise it will be considered that you actually don't have the majority in the state assembly.'
