In the second wave of the corona virus, many false and fake news on social media are rapidly going viral. Some people are working to create misconceptions in the society about corona vaccination. This is creating panic in the minds of the people. Meanwhile, a video is going viral on social media. In which a sensational claim is being made regarding vaccination.

The video, which has gone viral on social media, claims that after Covid-19 vaccination, electric current is generated in the hand on which you get vaccinated.

CLAIM:

A man in a viral video could be seen lighting a bulb as soon as he places it on his arm. He claims that COVID vaccines contain metals or microchips causing magnets to attach to the arms of vaccinated people, and even produce electricity. 

Fact Check:Press Information Bureau (PIB) conducted a fact check on this message and found out that the claim is FALSE. Neither does COVID vaccine contain any metal or microchip nor it has any magnet-like effect producing electricity. The viral claim is "fake", it said, adding that coronavirus vaccines are safe to be administered. Do not believe such fake information, get the vaccination done.
