On Monday, Kishtwar district and its adjacent areas experienced rainfall. The Srinagar Meteorological Centre had predicted "light to moderate rain (with light snowfall expected over higher elevations) accompanied by thunder in various parts of the Kashmir Division" for Monday evening.
