Gujarat: Man Narrowly Escape Injury as Elevator Suddenly Moves Up; Disturbing CCTV Footage Emerge

A shocking video of man falling from the moving has surfaced on social media. This incident happened in Gujarat's Valsad had on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. CCTV footage shows the man stepping out of the life and lift suddenly went up. 

This incident was caught on CCTV installed inside the lift at the Sardar Heights Society. He reportedly live in the ninth floor of the building, entering the lift and pressing the ground floor button. He was then seen leaning on the lift doors as he waited for the ground floor.

Lift door opens and as he tries to step out, elevator quickly moved upward as he was exiting, nearly trapping him in the gap between the floor and the lift.  Footage shows his head, however, hit the lift door, leaving him with a minor injury.

The lift was then reportedly taken out of service.
