With 3900 new cases and 195 fatalities in the past 24 hours, the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country climbed to 46,433 on Tuesday, the Union Health Ministry said.

Of the total cases, 32134 active cases, 12727 cured/discharged/migrated and 1568 deaths, confirmed Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Maharashtra remained the worst-hit state with the total number of cases rising to 14,541. Maharashtra also has the highest number of fatalities with 583 deaths.
