Karnataka Horror: Brother, Father Kill Youth Over Alleged Affair, Stage Accident to Mislead Police in Tumakuru
A shocking case that has stained the sanctity of family ties has come to light from Tumakuru city in Karnataka, where a young man was allegedly murdered by his own elder brother with the help of their father, following a dispute over an alleged relationship. The deceased has been identified as Stalin, while police have arrested his elder brother Naveen and their father John Paul in connection with the crime. The incident has sent shockwaves across the region, highlighting how a personal conflict within the family escalated into a brutal act of violence.
According to a preliminary investigation, John Paul has two sons—Naveen and Stalin. Naveen is married, and his wife is currently pregnant, while Stalin was engaged to a woman named Jennifer, and preparations for their wedding were underway. However, tensions erupted within the household after Jennifer allegedly accused Stalin of having illicit relationships with his elder brother’s sister-in-law and even with Naveen’s wife. These allegations triggered frequent arguments in the family over the past week, eventually pushing the situation towards a tragic and irreversible outcome.
Police said the dispute reached a breaking point on March 22, when Naveen, allegedly enraged by the accusations, attacked Stalin with the assistance of their father. In an attempt to cover up the crime, the accused rushed Stalin to Siddaganga Hospital and fabricated a story, claiming he had suffered abdominal injuries after falling while parking a bike and hitting a railing. Despite receiving treatment for five days, Stalin succumbed to his injuries, raising suspicions about the nature of the incident.
During the investigation, Jayanagar police noticed that the injuries on Stalin’s body were inconsistent with an accidental fall and appeared to be caused by a sharp weapon. Upon sustained questioning, John Paul initially attempted to mislead the police but later confessed to the crime. Following this, both he and Naveen were taken into custody. The revelation that a father aided in the murder of his own son has deeply disturbed the local community, bringing attention to the alarming extent to which domestic conflicts can spiral out of control and turn fatal.
