The Karnataka government has decided to postpone the Karnataka SSLC exams 2021. Karnataka SSLC examinations  2021 were scheduled to begin on June 21 in the state. Karnataka government announced that they will release the revised schedule for the examination soon. Karnataka primary and secondary education minister Suresh Kumar announced the postponement of Karnataka SSLC board exams 2021. " SSLC examination slated to begin from June 29 has been postponed in view of search in covid-19 cases revised schedule will be decided after the second wave dies," reads the official statement. 

The Karnataka government had already postponed the second Pre University exam for the class 12 final exam and promoted first-year students. Also, the Karnataka common entrance test  KCET 2021 held for engineering admissions in the state was postponed on Wednesday May 12.Karnataka school earlier announced for early summer vacation which will continue till June 14 in 2021 simultaneously the new academic year in schools will begin from June 15. Many national level and state level entrance tests for under graduation and post-graduation Exams have also been deferred. Joint entrance examinations, JEE Main 2021 and Neet 2020-21 have been postponed till further notice in India.
