SNDP Yogam is the socio-cultural body of the Hindu Ezhava community in Kerala which accounts for 50 per cent of the total Hindu population in the state.

It was set up under the guidance of the much revered Sree Narayana Guru in 1903 and has a rich legacy.

Senkumar told the media here that Natesan was first elected the general secretary of the SNDP in 1996 and continues to hold the post even now.

"Since then till now, lot of appointments have been made to the schools and colleges owned by the SNDP besides donations have been collected from students seeking admission. About Rs 1600 crores has been collected and there has been no accounting of it. We demand that a probe be conducted by the DRI/IT/ or the Enforcement Directorate into it," said Senkumar.

"The elections to the SNDP are not at all transparent and hence he (Natesan) gets elected. We also demand that Natesan in the best interest of the organisation, which has a huge legacy, steps down and hands the administration to a retired judge. Let the judge conduct a fresh election and if Natesan still wins, we will all rally behind him," added Senkumar.

Senkumar, in response to a question on the allegations about Natesan's involvement in a few murder cases, said that he will not say anything on things that he is not well versed with.

Senkumar is known for his fighting qualities and after being removed as the state police chief, the day Pinarayi Vijayan assumed office in 2016, got back his post after a high pitched legal battle and finally retired after becoming the state police chief for 55 days on June 30, 2017.
