Odisha Horror: Drunk Man Kills Wife, Daughter-In-Law, Granddaughter With Hammer Over Domestic Dispute

In gruesome crime incident has came to light from Odisha's Deogarh, were an elderly man is reportedly absconding after allegedly killing three members of his family with hammer. Man did this act following a domestic dispute.  

According to India today reports, man was reportedly under the influence of alcohol and attacked wife, daughter-in-law and four-year-old granddaughter, were all attacked at their home in Gariapali village late on Wednesday night. Incident came to light when accused's son returned home and discovered the bodies, after which he immediately informed police. 

Incident reportedly occurred around 11:30pm, police report that Ramesh Garia, following a heated argument with his wife, Gul Garia, allegedly killed her and his daughter-in-law, Lipi Mahakul, with a hammer when Gul sought Lipi's help. He then attacked his granddaughter, Ishani, before fleeing.

A preliminary investigation suggests a long-standing family dispute motivated the attack. Police have registered a case and launched a search for Ramesh, with further investigation ongoing.
