A tragic incident occurred at Bhadrachalam in the Bhadradri Kothagudem district of Telangana, where a six-storey under-construction building collapsed earlier today. The collapse has raised concerns about the safety protocols followed during the construction phase.

Upon receiving reports of the incident, local authorities acted swiftly, with the police rushing to the site to initiate rescue operations. At the time of the collapse, workers were reportedly present, adding to the urgency of the situation. Emergency response teams, including police and medical personnel, have been deployed to assist in the rescue efforts and assess the scale of the damage.

The Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) for the Bhadradri Kothagudem district confirmed the incident and informed the press that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the collapse
