Emergency services were promptly called, and multiple ambulances arrived to transport the victims to a nearby hospital. While some have sustained minor injuries, a few are reported to be in critical condition. The local police also arrived swiftly to manage the situation and initiate a thorough investigation into the cause of the accident.

In April a similar incident was reported in Salarpur near Uttar Pradesh where three children died after a school bus overturned in Barabanki. Reportedly, thirty-two children were injured in the accident that took place when the children were on their way back to Suratganj after a picnic in Lucknow.
