An Indian actress and model, Pooja Batra who has acted in some Bollywood films in the early days of her acting career. She has acted in a few films but mainly known for portraying the role as a supporting actress in the Bollywood film titled ‘Virasat’ in which she worked along with Anil Kapoor and Tabu.

Apart from this, she also made an appearance as a supporting actress in the Bollywood film named ‘Kahin Pyar Naa Hojaye’ starring Salman Khan, Rani Mukherji, Jackie Shroff, and Kashmira Shah.

Batra was born on 27 October to Ravi Batra, an army coloneland Neelam Batra, a Miss India (1971) participant.She lived in Ludhiana with her extended family while she was young.[10] While in school, she was an athlete and competed in the 200 and 400-meter dash.She is related to Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal.

She also took part in the Femina Miss International 1993 where she was honored with the title of Femina Miss India International. However, she did not get much success in her acting venture and that’s the reason she is unnoticed by many.

Pooja Batra initially married Dr. Sonu S. Ahluwalia in Los Angeles, California in 2002. But their relationship did not go well, and they parted ways in 2010. Later, she dated actor, Nawabshah in 2019 as per Hindu traditions.

Pooja filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.

Batra has volunteered time and money to charitable causes including AIDS (Mukti Foundation), homeless children, the Bombay Police Department and injured soldiers in the Kashmir war.

Pooja Batra was considered the greatest actress and she has worked in more than 30 movies including ‘Haseena Maan Jayegi’, ‘Bhai’, ‘Megham’, and many others that are notable to share.

Pooja Batra worked with Bollywood superstars including Sanjay Dutt, Govinda, Karishma Kapoor, Salman Khan, Kashmira Shah, Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Anil Kapoor, Suneil Shetty, Sonali Bendre, and many others.

Among many, one of the most appreciated movies may include ‘Taj Mahal- An Eternal Love Story’ which was released in 2006. Her performance led her to win nominations in the category of Best Actress at the Sansui Screen Awards.

In 2009, the actress launched her own production company titled ‘GlowBellinc’ which specializes in Hollywood and Bollywood productions. She produced the film under the banner of her own company and the film ‘Kambakht Ishq’ which became critically acclaimed.
