Pune Accident News: Car Severely Damaged After Hitting Parked Trailer near Gahunje, Three Injured

Shirgaon: A major accident occurred at Gahunje on Friday evening at 4:30 PM on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway, were a Mercedes car collided with a trailer. In this accident, three people from Chandkhed were seriously injured. All three were traveling in the Mercedes. They are currently receiving treatment at a private hospital near Somatane Phata. No case had been registered regarding the incident until late at night.

The injured have been identified as Akash Dinanath Singh (23), Sarika Suryakant Tapkir (44), and Prashita Walke (24). They are being treated at Pavana Hospital. The police stated that they sustained minor injuries. According to the police, a family was traveling towards Mumbai in a Mercedes car on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway around 4:30 PM. While passing in front of Symbiosis College in Gahunje, the Mercedes hit a trailer parked on the side of the road from behind.

After receiving information about the accident, the police reached the spot and rescued the injured. The front of the Mercedes car was completely destroyed in the accident. The injured were admitted to a private hospital at Somatane Phata for treatment.

The police stated that the passengers in the Mercedes car sustained minor injuries, and no case had been registered in this matter until late at night.
