Pune: Stray Dogs Attack Boy While Playing in Society; Shocking CCTV Footage Goes Viral

Pune: A series of dog attack is at rise, were several incident reported across the India. In Pune's Chaitrangan Society in Kirkatwadi area where a small child was suddenly attacked by stray dogs. CCTV footage of this incident has come to light and an atmosphere of fear has been created in the area.

Suddenly 3-4 stray dogs ran towards the child who was playing in the society premises. After that, they tried to attack the child in a few moments. When the frightened child screamed, the surrounding citizens ran and saved him. Fortunately, the boy was slightly injured and is undergoing treatment.

This entire incident was captured on the CCTV camera in the society. After the footage went viral on social media, anger is being expressed among the citizens. Residents have demanded immediate action. Citizens of the area said that the number of stray dogs has increased in the Kirkatwadi area. People walking at night and in the morning as well as children have been put at risk. There is a demand that the administration take immediate measures for the vaccination, restriction, and rehabilitation of dogs.

Victim identified as Anvita Mallikarjuna Shetty suffered a injury to left eye. CCTV footage show a girl holding a plastic bag in her hand visiting shop. She hands over the bag to the shopkeeper who is not seen in the video. As the girl turned, a dog startled her. She ran toward her home, but the dog gave chase, pulling her frock and knocking her down.
