Pune Tragedy: 5-Year-Old Dies After Speeding Car Runs Over Him Inside Society in Loni Kalbhor; Disturbing CCTV Footage Emerges

Disturbing footage of a 5-year-old boy getting crushed to death by a speeding car has surfaced on social media. The incident from Pune's Loni Kalbhor area occurred on 19th January, 2026, around 3:22pm, when the child was playing in society premises on his tricycle. This incident has left everyone shocked and concerned about the safety of kids even in their society premises, which is supposed to be safe.

CCTV footage shared by Pune First, shows a speeding car coming out of parking lot and at the same time, kid on his tricycle coming in front of car. Before anyone could know car ran over the little boy. Car immediately stopped and driver and locals came out for help put little kid to in car and went to hospital.

According to police reports, child identified as Nishkarsh died after being hit by a speeding car in his neighborhood, police reports state. His grandmother, Saraswati Reddy, brought him home around 3:30 pm. Nishkarsh was playing on a skating cycle when a car hit him. His father, Ashwat Narayan Swami, 40, filed a police report at the Loni Kalbhor.

Police Station, and a case has been opened against the car's driver. CCTV footage shows the car hitting Nishkarsh and then stopping. The driver got out to check on him as neighbors gathered. Nishkarsh was taken to a private hospital but died before he could be treated. The CCTV footage of the accident has been widely shared on social media.
