Bride and Groom Share 35-Second Passionate Kiss in Mandap Before Guests, Video Goes Viral (Watch)
A video showing an Indian couple sharing a passionate kiss during their wedding ceremony has gone viral on social media, igniting a heated debate among netizens. While some viewers described the moment as a natural expression of love between the newlyweds, others criticised it, saying such public displays do not align with the traditional values associated with Hindu wedding rituals. The clip, reportedly filmed during a Bengali wedding ceremony, shows the bride and groom sharing an intimate kiss on stage in front of family members and guests.
Even the whites do this quite respectfully when the pastor says “You may now kiss the bride”.

Why marry with vedic rituals and indulge in such filthy acts?
Hindus are seriously losing their minds…We’re finishing ourselves😵💫😵💫pic.twitter.com/izhurKG3kX
As the video spread widely across social media platforms, it triggered mixed reactions online. Several users defended the couple, saying weddings are personal celebrations and the moment reflected their affection for each other.
However, many others expressed discomfort, arguing that such gestures are influenced by Western wedding customs and do not fit with the cultural and spiritual significance traditionally associated with Indian wedding ceremonies.
The footage also shows guests watching and recording the moment on their phones as the couple locked lips during the ceremony. The viral clip has since fuelled a broader discussion online about changing wedding traditions, personal expression, and the balance between modern practices and cultural norms.
