A viral video shows the woman performing a ritualistic bath at the Sangam while on a video call with her husband, who could not accompany her. In an unexpected move, she dips her phone into the river, seemingly offering her husband a virtual "online Snan." The act has surprised many and sparked humorous reactions online.


The video, shared on Instagram, has drawn thousands of comments. One user joked, "If anyone is at Mahakumbh, let me know. I want to wash away my sins like this too." Another wrote, "This is a new way of purification." A third commented, "Best wishes, your sins are now washed away."

This is not the first time Mahakumbh has witnessed unusual rituals. A few days ago, a man claimed to offer virtual holy baths for ₹1,100. According to a viral video, he printed photos sent via WhatsApp, dipped them in the river, and declared people’s sins washed away.
