The number of corona patients in the country has been increasing rapidly over the last few days. As the second wave of the coronavirus intensifies, India yet again reported the highest single-day spike of COVID-19 cases with over 3,46,786 fresh infections and 2,624 deaths on Saturday. The alarming spread of COVID-19 has led to shortage of oxygen cylinders in the hospitals, Remdesivir medicine, and beds in hospital. Many people are in need of medical supplies in case of an emergency.

As the country is going through the pandemic, many have actually got help from social media like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Amid huge demand for medical supplies, Twitter has created a Advance Search Feature for users who can search for latest information and useful materials. Which will help users to access the latest information and useful materials.

Let's find out how you can use it on Twitter. The official Twitter India account in a series of tweet wrote, "All across the country, people are using Twitter to find the latest information and access to resources right now. As this people’s movement unfolds, we wanted to remind you of some of the features that could help you find what you’re looking for faster #Covid19IndiaHelp"Here' how 'Advance Search Feature' works:

  • Advanced Search https://twitter.com/search-advanced can help you filter for fields like a specific hashtag, time period, or Tweets from a particular account.
  • If you’d like to see Tweets that are close to your current location, type in a relevant hashtag in the search bar, tap the toggle button on the top right, and turn on ‘Near you’ under ‘Location’.
  • You’ll have to turn on location settings for this to work.
  • You can also make sure the most recent Tweets are at the top of your timeline by tapping the ‘sparkle’ button on the top right of your home timeline.
