Kalyan: Woman Receptionist Kicked, Dragged by Hair at Private Hospital in Thane; Shocking Video Surfaces

A shocking video has emerged on social media on Tuesday, July 22, where a woman was kicked hard and pulled, dragged by her hair at the hospital premises. The incident is reported to have occurred in the Kalyan area of Thane district in Maharashtra. The woman in the video, who is said to be a receptionist at a private hospital, was brutally assaulted by a visiting patient waiting to visit the doctor for a checkup.

According to the initial information, the altercation began when the woman receptionist, who was identified as a local who worked at a private hospital, told the accused patient, who was later identified as Gopal Jha, to wait for the call as the doctor was attending to a medical representative (MR).

Enraged by this, Jha attacked the receptionist, causing widespread outrage in the hospital premises. The shocking incident was caught on camera, and the CCTV footage went viral on social media. 

In a viral video, a man wearing a white shirt is seen hurdling at the reception and kicking the woman while she was in conversation with another patient. Further, in a 0.15-second clip, the accused man can be seen brutally kicking and dragging the woman receptionist on the hospital floor by her hair.

According to local media reports, the woman sustained injuries following the assault. The complaint was filed at the Manpada Police Station against the accused, Gopal Jha. Police visited the spot and reviewed the CCTV footage for further investigation into the matter.
