Aurangabad, May 20:A pillion rider woman died as a speeding motorcycle slippedfrom a bridge near Demni Wahegaon Phata on Jalna Road on Wednesday night. Thedeceased has been identified as Sarita Vishwanath Room (36, Mukundwadi).Sarita Room and Ashwin Harne were coming to Aurangabad fromJalna on the motorcycle. At Devini Phata, the speeding motorcycle slipped onthe bridge while Sarita fell from the bike and sustained severe head injuries.Harne also sustained minor injuries. Meanwhile, the nearby residents rushed theinjured to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) where the doctorsdeclared her dead after examination. She is survived by two sons and adaughter. Last rites were performed at her native village at Kumbhari inBhokardan tehsil on Thursday.
