Nagpur, April 27For second day in a row, more people have recovered than the infected. On Tuesday, around 6,287 new positives were found in the district while 6,863 infected people recovered. However, 101 infected people lost their lives.On Monday too, 5,921 recovered, while 5,852 came positive. If recovery increases then the number of active patients will decrease, beds will be available in hospitals. There has also been a decrease in the number of active patients in Mumbai and Pune. In Nagpur district, 3,86,327 have been infected till date and 7,126 deaths have been recorded so far.On Tuesday 27.44 percent samples came positive. It is a matter of relief that now the infected are gradually decreasing in Nagpur. But in rural areas, the infection is not coming in control. Out of the total positives on Tuesday, 3,813 were from city, 2,466 rural area and 8 were from outside the district. Out of the dead 54 are from city, 39 in rural and 8 from outside the district.A total of 22,908 samples were tested in Nagpur district. Out of which 17,123 were from city and 5,785 from rural. There has been a decrease in the number of people undergoing test in Nagpur rural from last few days. Out of total RT-PCR samples tested on Tuesday, 11,086 samples were tested in private labs, out of which 3,849 samples were positive. While 130 samples out of 5,756 samples were positive in Antigen test. 821 samples were positive in AIIMS lab, 550 in GMCH lab, 690 in Mayo lab, 91 in Neeri lab, 156 in Nagpur University lab. Total 22,00,302 samples have been tested in Nagpur.3 lakhs to recoverThe number of recovered patients crossed three lakh mark on Tuesday. On Tuesday, 6,863 people recovered out of which 4,488 from city and 2,375 from the rural area. So far, a total of 3,02,480 people have recovered. The recovery rate has reached 78.30 percent.Active patient 76,721The number of active patients in Nagpur district stood at 76,721 on Tuesday. There are 46,172 in the city and 30,549 in the rural.
