Congress candidate Gyanraj Yashwant Nikam won from Ward No. 223 Musafir Khana of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in Mumbai. Nikam secured 8,508 votes, defeating Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) candidate Priya Rupesh Patil, who polled 8,041 votes.Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) candidate Prashant Gandhi received 1,560 votes, while Samajwadi Party candidate Afreen Javed Sheikh secured 3,384 votes.
