Addressing the inaugural event of the 27th National Youth Festival, Thakur further predicted that with Prime Minister Narendra Modi securing a third term in office, India could become the third largest economy within three years.He also highlighted the historical significance of Nashik, chosen as the event's venue, mentioning its associations with Lord Rama's Panchavati, the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and Veer Savarkar.
