London, Oct 8 England pacer Ollie Robinson was named in the central contracts list for the first time. Apart from him, batter Dawid Malan and left-arm spinner Jack Leach have received contracts under a revamped system for the first time. All-rounder Liam Livingstone is awarded an increment contract for the first time, said the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Friday.As per the new system, 20 annual contracts have been awarded in a 'single' contract list instead of the separate red-ball and white-ball contracts running since 2016. Since the inception of central contracts in 2002, the system has facilitated improved preparation, performance and professionalism of the England team and has ensured that players are well rewarded for representing their country at the elite level," added Giles.Notable absentees include opener Dom Sibley, who lost his place in the Test side to Haseeb Hameed, who is also not on the list.
