Sydney, Feb 3 In a first of its kind lawsuit against Meta (formerly Facebook), Australian iron ore magnate Andrew 'Twiggy' Forrest has launched legal action against social media giant, alleging that it breached anti-money laundering laws by failing to prevent a series of scam crypto ads using his name and image, media reports said on Thursday.Facing intense scrutiny by governments the world over user data privacy, Meta has previously never faced criminal charges.According to ABC News, Forrest alleged that Facebook was "criminally reckless" by failing to take down false cryptocurrency scam advertisements using his image.Facebook now rebranded to Meta "failed to create controls or a corporate culture to prevent its systems being used to commit crime", Forrest said."I'm concerned about innocent Austral being scammed through clickbait advertising on social media.
