According to the affidavit submitted by the central government to the Supreme Court, a total of 6.12 crore doses will be available to the state in May. In May, an average of 2.5 million doses are given daily. The government is expected to stockpile 100 million doses in June and 150 million doses in July. If this estimate proves true, 33 crore vaccinations will be done in India in the next 78 days. Accordingly, 137 crore vaccinations will be given in 153 days from August 1 to December 31.
