Aurangabad, April 4:

A total of 138 persons were booked for flouting the disaster management act and curfew norms in the city during the last two days.

Police took action against 138 such people under various sections for violating the disaster management act and curfew norms.

There is a full lockdown on Saturday and Sunday every week and night curfew for the rest of the days to reduce the spread of COVID.

A meeting chaired by district collector Sunil Chavan was held four days ago to implement guidelines of the State Government’s ‘’Mission Begin Again’.

Sunil Chavan instructed the different departments to implement the guidelines strictly in the district and take action against those who flout the norms. Police started taking action against pedestrians, riders and drivers on April 2.
