Aurangabad, Nov 22:

The containment zones established to restrict the spread of Coronavirus are 1504 presently, of which 152 are in the urban areas and 1352 in the rural areas, informed the divisional administration. The maximum containment zones are in Beed, Nanded, Parbhani, Latur and Hingoli districts.

In all, 8320 residents are home quarantined in Aurangabad city and rural areas. Not a single suspect or non-symptomatic patient has been quarantined in the Quarantine centers, the administration mentioned in the report.

Moreover, 4082 persons died due to Covid-19 in the Marathwada region. The average monthly deaths in eight months of lockdown and later during mission begin are 510. A maximum 1143 deaths are reported in Aurangabad district, followed by 638 in Latur and 629 in Nanded district.
