Chhatrapati Sambhajingar: A total of 28 resolutions were unanimously passed at the 19th Vidrohi Marathi Sahitya Sammelan that concluded at Aam Khaas Ground on Sunday.

Anil Kumar Baste, Bharat Shirsat, Anant Bhaware, Dhammarakshit Samudre, Dr Vilas Bua, Dr Vinay Hatole, Savita Abhyankar and Ratan Kumar Salve presented the resolutions.

Some other resolution are as follows;

--Government grant being given to All India Marathi Literary Meet (Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan) should be stopped immediately and this fund should be allocated for the families of suicide-stricken farmers and the salaries of teachers in all Marathi schools and colleges, working on the clock hourly basis.

--The equitable water distribution policy should be implemented immediately and strictly to avoid discrimination between Marathwada and Western Maharashtra. Marathwada should be given its rightful water.

--Shaniwar Wada, a symbol of inequality, should be removed from the emblem of Savitribai Phule Pune University and replaced with Lal Mahal, a symbol of Swarajya.

--Journalists, editors and news channel staff are attacked by the ruling party and others. Immediate action should be taken against such attackers and freedom of expression should be protected.

--A memorial should be erected by the Government for Fatima Shaikh, co-teacher of Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule.

--To eradicate the caste system in India, it is necessary to understand the development and backwardness of each caste in the post-independence period and conduct a caste-wise census immediately.
