In all, 31 new Corona suspects were found positive in the district on Friday, as per official press release.

Patients found in the city areas are from Jadhavwadi, Sanjaynagar, MIDC Colony, Other (One each). Vedantnagar - two.

Patients found in the rural areas are from Aurangabad, Gangapur (One each). Paithan - two, Kannad - three, Vaijapur - 15.

One dies; Total deaths: 3,481

A woman from Pimpalgaon in Vaijapur tehsil died in the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).

10,49,956 persons vaccinated in district

In all, 10,49,956 persons (first and second doses) have been vaccinated till July 23. So far, 5,12,107 persons have been vaccinated in the rural areas, of which, 3,95,479 took first dose while 1,16,628 took second dose. In all, 5,37,849 persons have been vaccinated in the city, of which, 3,88,393 took first dose while 1,49,456 took second dose.

Total patients: 1,47,141

Cured: 1,43,371

Discharged on Friday: 16 (City 3, Rural 13)

Active patients: 289

Deaths: 3,481 (one dies on Friday)
