Aurangabad, Dec 10:

The State Common Entrance Test Cell started online registration for admissions to the two-year Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course in the Government, university departments and private, professional unaided colleges across the State for the Academic Year 2020-21 from Thursday.

The last date of submission of the application form and uploading required documents is up to December 16. Candidate need not visit e-Scrutiny Center for verification and confirmation of the application form as it will be done by the centre through online mode up to December 17. The provisional merit list will be displayed on December 19.

Candidates can raise grievances if any about the data displayed in the provisional merit list on December 20 and 21. The final merit will be released for all candidates on December 23.

Who is eligible to apply?

The SCETC declared the result of Maharashtra Master of Computer Application Common Entrance Test (MAH-MCA-CET) on November 28. Around 15,366 candidates appeared for the MCA-CET held on October 28 with 100 multiple choice objective type questions (200 marks). Of the total appeared, more than 180 students scored zero marks while 154 candidates obtained 90 and above percentile.

The candidate who has passed BCA or Bachelor degree in computer science engineering or equivalent degree with minimum 50 per cent marks (least 45 pc for Backward Class Categories students) and obtained non zero positive score in MAH-MCA-CET 2020 are eligible to apply for the course.
