The Aurangabad Hotel and Restaurant Association (AHRA) has started conducting RT-PCR covid test camps for all hotel staff in all the hotels in the city to provide a safe environment to all customers, said association president Harpreet Singh Nirh in a statement.

As per the statement, the testing camp was inaugurated at Taj Vivanta under the guidance of commissioner of police Nikhil Gupta and municipal commissioner Astik Kumar Kumar Pandey.

Nirh said "We are committed to providing enhanced luxury experience through hotels in Aurangabad, in which the most important needs of customer welfare and safety will be met through responsible hotel practice.

We are all following the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Directorate of Tourism, Government of Maharashtra, Ministry of Tourism of India, and Ministry of Home Affairs. We also thank the administration for providing assistance and support to hotel operators and restaurant operators to start their business in this challenging environment.

Digital menus, zero contact service

Nirh said, "Protecting the health of all hotel associates is still very important today. The association has designed specially curated training for collaborators. Training program for personal, social and workplace. Guest service with zero contact. Sanitized cutlery, crockery and tableware supported with digital menus and e-payment solutions. Strict adherence to safety standards, including PPE kits for collaborators."
