Aurangabad, April 23:

All the borders of the district joining other districts have been closed and check posts have been established all over. The antigen tests of the passengers coming from other districts will be conducted. The checking will be done on all the roads coming from Pune, Ahmedabad, Nashik, Jalgaon, Dhule, Beed and Jalna.

The government has announced lockdown till April 30. District collector Sunil Chavan said that people can travel from tehsil to tehsil in the district without e-passes. However, they should have significant reasons for it. People coming from other cities and districts to the city or district will be allowed to return, he said.

Meanwhile, 1,39,784 residents were given e-passes between April 21, 2020 and Augutst 10, 2020 to go out of the district. Around 1,500 e-passes were issued daily while 48,282 applications were rejects due to various reasons.
