Aurangabad, Dec 24:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 207 antigen and 776 RT-PCR tests (total 983 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 20 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 59 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected seven Covid-19 patients (including two from the areas situated outside the AMC limit) on the spot. The AMC personnel also held 102 RT-PCR tests on suspects.

Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams conducted 95 antigen tests and detected seven Covid-19 patients. It also collected swab collection of 579 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted 11 RT-PCR tests, while District Civil Hospital conducted two and private laboratories conducted 82 today. Meanwhile, private laboratories also conducted 53 antigen tests and detected six infected patients (including two from areas out of the AMC limit). The AMC will receive the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
