AMC detects 23 COVID patients on Tuesday

Aurangabad, Dec 8:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 187 antigen and 797 RT-PCR tests (total 984 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 23 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 58 antigen tests at the CCCs and found seven Covid-19 patients (including one resident staying in an area out of AMC limit). The AMC personnel also held 134 RT-PCR tests.

Meanwhile, the Special Task Force, by visiting different parts of the city, conducted 85 antigen tests and detected 12 Covid-19 patients, apart from 563 RT-PCR tests on suspects.

According to AMC data, GMCH conducted 11 RT-PCR tests, District Civil Hospital conducted one and private laboratories conducted 88 RT-PCR tests today. Meanwhile, the private laboratories also conducted 44 antigen tests and found four Covid-19 patients. The AMC will receive the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
