The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) administrator, Astik Kumar Pandey, today issued orders permitting the junior colleges/schools to start regular classes of 11th and 12th standard in areas, excluding containment zones, in the city, from tomorrow (December 15).

The educational institutes are instructed to adhere to all standard operating procedures (SoPs). Meanwhile, the teaching and non-teaching staff are told to undergo RT-PCR test to ensure their safety, before starting of the colleges.

Meanwhile, the administrator also recommends obtaining consent letter in writing from parents, who will be sending their wards to the college, to attend off-line classes. However, the colleges should continue the online class, if the students prefer them, stated the order.
