Aurangabad, April 16:

District collector, Sunil Chavan has clarified that the doctors, nurses and employees are working day and night in this Corona crisis, the patients and their relatives should cooperate with them and the attack on these Corona warriors will not be tolerated, he said.

The medical officer of Bidkin Rural Hospital Dr Sanjay Gore was attacked by the relatives of the patients while he was on duty on Sunday. Chavan, ZP CEO Dr Mangesh Gondawale met Dr Gore at his home and received information about the incident. Chavan then took Dr Gore to the Bidkin police station and lodged a complaint.

Dr Gore had not lodged any complainant in this regard. Hence, the district collector on receiving the information himself went to his house and took him to the Bidkin police station in his own vehicle. He stayed at the station until the procedure was completed. Tehsildar Chandrakant Shelke, district vaccination officer Dr Vijay Wagh and others were present.
