Aurangabad, Feb 12:

The district and sessions judge, A A Kulkarni, on Friday,

rejected the bail plea of accused Vijay Raisingh Sattawan 925, Jodwadi,

Aurangabad) in a murder case.

Public prosecutor Kailas Pawar Khandalkar on behalf of the

government, opposed the bail plea.

As per the complaint lodged by Charansingh Harsingh Gusinghe

(31, Jodwadi, Aurangabad), on January 15 at around 11 pm, six persons including

Sanjay Bimrot, Madan Munnasingh Jarwal, Sanjay Raisingh Sattavan, Vijay

Raisingh Sattavan, Santosh Kadu Gusinge and Bijusingh Jarwal called his cousin

Sanjay Ramchandra Gusinge out of the house, abuse and beat him. The complainant

tried to intervene in the quarrel, but the accused beat him also. As the

accused were beating Charansingh, his father Harsingh Kalu Gusinge (60) tried

to mediate in the conflict when Madan Jarwal kicked him in his stomach. He fell

unconscious on the ground and was rushed to the Government Medical College and

Hospital (GMCH), where the doctors declared him dead after the examination. A

case in this regard was registered at the Chikalthana police station.
